Legal Assistant - Family Law:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced legal assistant to work within our busy FAMILY LAW area.  The qualified assistant will be responsible for preparing and filing various legal correspondence and court documents including applications, consent orders,affidavits; scheduling of appointments; maintenance of calendars and file diary system; data entry, filing and other clerical duties as required. Performing analysis and calculations for determination of Child and/or Spousal Support using the Child View software program.  Along with a Legal Assistant diploma and at least two full years of relevant experience, the successful applicant must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional mature work ethic; be highly organized, focused and attentive to detail; have a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, work hard and grow. Typing speed, accuracy and word processing skills are also a must as are working knowledge of PCLaw, Word and Outlook.

Legal Assistant - Wills, Estates, Probate & Represented Adult matters:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced LEGAL ASSISTANT to provide direct support to our practice areas involving Wills, Estates, Probate and Represented Adult matters, so experience in these areas is essential.

The qualified assistant will be responsible for preparing various correspondence; scheduling of appointments; file management; maintenance of calendars and file diary system; data entry, filing and other clerical duties as required.

Along with a legal assistant diploma and two years of relevant experience, the successful applicant must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional mature work ethic; be highly organized, focused and attentive to detail; have a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, work hard and grow. Typing speed, accuracy and word processing skills are also a must as are proficiency with MS Office and PCLaw.
